Teotihuacan
In the central high plateau of what is today the Mexican Republic, the remains of the amazing city still stands tall and spreads, loyal image of that other one where, in heaven, gods were made.
In a way that archaeology has not managed yet to establish, the civilizing secrets of the Olmec culture, vanished centuries before, arrived to Teotihuacan to illuminate and nourish her.
How they could get there is ignored; it is known, nonetheless, how, through her, they enlightened the cultures that ensued in the region, and managed, thus, to give grandeur and sense to that of the Aztecs.
Because in Teotihuacan, a perdurable image of the cosmogonic principle of the Olmecs was created, that of the union of man with the two gods transmuted into serpents: the image of Tlaloc.
